Welcome to the Rail Capital development diary

Rail Capital now has a dedicated development diary. This is where we will record the journey from working build to finished game, explain the decisions behind its interconnected systems and share what is changing along the way.

What to expect

Future dispatches will cover the parts of development that are most interesting to see in motion:

• railway construction and train operations;
• companies, shares and the wider economy;
• maps, scenarios and the Iron Road campaign;
• multiplayer, daily games and competitive scoring;
• visual improvements and lessons from playtesting.

The diary will complement the faster conversations in Discord, giving larger features and design changes room for a proper explanation.
