Information we collect
The Rail Capital website does not currently ask you to create an account, submit personal details or join a marketing list. We do not currently use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
Like most hosted websites, the hosting provider may process ordinary technical request information, such as your IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time. This may be used to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose faults.
Game data
Rail Capital stores profiles, preferences, saved games and score history locally on your device. This information is not automatically uploaded to the Rail Capital website.
When using multiplayer, the player name you choose and the game actions needed to run the session are shared with the host and other participants. Do not use a player name that reveals information you would prefer not to share.
Downloads and development builds
Development builds may be offered through a protected download area using shared playtester access. Download requests may appear in ordinary server security and access logs. Build archives do not intentionally contain analytics or advertising technology.
External services
This website links to Steam for the Rail Capital store page and wishlist, and to Discord for community discussion and playtest feedback. When you follow an external link, that service handles information under its own privacy policy and terms. Rail Capital does not control those services.
Cookies
We do not currently set optional analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies. Essential hosting or access-control technology may be used where required to serve protected content securely.
Changes to this policy
Rail Capital is in active development. If online accounts, global scores, telemetry or other network services are introduced, this policy will be updated before those features are made generally available.
